3. IGRT- Image Guided Radiation Therapy
The image guided technique helps to view and follow where the tumor has travelled, its extent of growth, and thereby radiation beam can be changed according to shape, and size of the tumor. Expert radiation oncologists explain these changes in tumor size happen to breathing and digestion processes. For example, when you eat, your stomach bloats a bit more and that may shift the tumor to a corner and the shape of the tumors are also likely to change.
4. Linear Accelerators
These accelerators are machines that allow specialists to deposit monitored radiation amounts in cancer infected areas and then adjusts the beam (radiation) as per the tumor size and intensity. All movements and radiations can be controlled with the help of computers.
5. HDR- High Dose Brach therapy
Truly an unthinkable method to blast off those cancer cells, but it is working for so many people! The treatment uses a catheter to send powerful medicines to the tumor without touching or affecting the nearby tissues or other body organs. It is safe but does take some time.

It works on a DNA approach which identifies dangerous cancer cells and activates the immune system to drive away and kill the cancerous cells.
Promising tests have shown that this method cures cancer by increasing the growth of T cells and thereby increasing the army of good cells to fight against cancer cells. The problem with regard to cancer is that the body does not identify them as a problematic character in the body and therefore allows it to grow. With this therapy, the body can identify the odd one out- the cancer cells and shrink and kill them in the preliminary stages itself. A promising method to cure from within without, taking a substantial amount of medicines to fight cancerous cells, is what Immunotherapy is all about.
7. Odoreader
A sniffer instrument that can sniff urine; sense the presence of cancer within the bladder, just within half an hour. All is done by analyzing urine gases with the help of sensors placed in this gadget and believe it or not it is 100% accurate!
8. Targeted Therapies
Studies have revealed that cancer develops in areas where new healthy cell formation tends to exist, as that provides the food for cancer. So based on such findings, targeted therapies which are actually using hormone drugs, control the genes and cell formations in the body and discourage and weaken the cancer cell from spreading and growing.
